Shillzz
I was skeptical about Kozak when we bought him, but it now seems he was one of our best summer signings. If ever there was a backhanded compliment .
villan_007
Tonev and Albrighton on the wings with Kozak up top could work, if Tonev can indeed cross the ball. Like it did against Spurs? Yes, exactly like it did against Spurs. I'm not sure if this contains any sarcasm or not, but Tonev, Kozak and Albrighton did not work at all well together against Spurs. Kozak was far too isolated, and all of his knock ons went directly back to Spurs. Not only that, but neither Albrighton, nor Tonev were able to fashion any meaningful chances for Kozak in the penalty area. They needed to be narrower and running past Kozak in order to pick up his flick ons. I have more faith in a potential partnership of Gabby, Kozak and Weimann. Yes they did, I'll give you it wasn't frequent enough but both of them are very short on match fitness. That ball tonev put into the box for kozak was sublime - if he can find his feet soonish we'll start seeing the best of his skills.
SikhInTrinity
The problem we had on Tuesday was our wingers were more focused on tracking runs of the full-backs than getting forward, it was rare when they ran past Kozak. With Gabby and Weimann, they will go beyond Kozak.
Avfc96
He lacks the skill and footwork Benteke has which means that the wingers (Gabby/Albrighton/Weimann/Tonev) will actually have to hug the touchlines and not play more centrally as they do when Benteke is playing.
turnbull
Thought he worked his socks off today with little reward. Played his part.
Dr_Pangloss
He's strong, powerful and works hard, will definitely cause any centre half problems in this league.

daggy_333
This lad may not be as talented as Benteke but he's definitely gonna cause problems for other teams!
switters
yeah worked hard. had nothing to play off most of the game. did a good job of timewasting and winning free kicks late on as well. helped stop City building any momentum in added time. Isa
Put a shift in. Is never going to create something from nothing as Benteke can but decent understudy.

Texas_Mike
Given the players he was up against and the amount of possession we actually had in the game..... thumbs up for what he did.
mikeyp102
Not as skilful, but definitely harder working than the Benteke, played for the team well today
turnbull
One thing he has in common with Tekkers is that he gives the impression he'll run through brick walls for the team

VillaChris
yeah worked hard. had nothing to play off most of the game. did a good job of timewasting and winning free kicks late on as well. helped stop City building any momentum in added time. He did that at Norwich aswell. I like that seeing how bad we frequently are at closing out games. I get the feeling he'll be the sort that will score important goals for us rather than being a regular scorer.
kurtsimonw
Not as bad with the ball at his feet as I expected him to be, works very hard too.
markavfc40
Really impressed with him today. You could tell he has played in Italy as the guy knows how to win a free kick which was crucial near the end as it broke up the game.
Big_John_10
Superb work rate and showed quick feet at times. Shame he lacks a bit of pace because i think ultimately that will hold him back from being a top striker in this league. Good performance today though.
