parisvilla
Can't make my mind up about Walcott's value to club/country. Statistically he's a very good player in terms of goals scored and assists made but whenever I watch him play he makes some infuriatingly poor decisions. Don't think much of his work ethic, understanding of where to run and when either. If I was picking Arsenal's strongest XI I think he'd miss out. villa4europe
I dread to think who Hodgson will call up as his replacement. chamberlain is probably aiming to be fit for the last 2 games of the season, make a sub appearance in both, how could roy possibly not pick him after that... PandaMac
Meanwhile Dan Crowley got 4 assists and a wonder goal tonight. Haven't been watching him since he went to arsenal but you can tell he's going to be a great player one day ( probably within the next 3 years ). Can't believe we got sod all for him as well. Edit - Now has 2 goals Edited January 6, 2014 by PandaMac

BOF Posted January 6, 2014 Moderator Share Posted January 6, 2014 ACL injury so not much chance he can come back early and be ready for the world cup.
mikeyp102
Walcott is a big loss for England, but not a massive one (still a loss though) for arsenal. Whenever he had played this yr gnarby looks like he will be a fantastic player and think he will have a big role to play this yr. Wenger does do a good job of bringing through youth players
Mr_Dogg
Feel for Walcott and now I have to take him out of my FF team. Everytime I watch him I think if his decision making was 10% to 15% better he'd be one of the best players in the world.
Rovers13
Amazes me that the ACL now gets announced as a six month injury. Medicine has really come a long way in that regard.

Xela
Feel sorry for Walcott but to suggest it is a big loss for England is rubbish. His England career is average at best.
