So why is Ramsey **** brilliant all of a sudden? Sure, he was improving a lot last year but he seems to have 'done a Bale'.

Everyone compared him to Fabregas before he got hurt, the talent was always there he just needed to get his confidence and hone his game again. And it's not like this was overnight. He was really, really good for Arsenal in the second half of last season, the only reason he didnt make more headlines was his finishing was poor so he didn't rack up goals. But the rest of his game was at a very high level last year.

Agree, they have only been tested once this season (first home game, they were outclassed by superior opposition) but have had it easy since.

I still think they will come up short of the title.

I think they have one of the best first 11s in the league and when on form play the best football of any side but I agree, I also think they will fall short. They don't have the depth of a title winning side, especially up front and in center back.

Having said that, they do have some big players still to come back from injury. I'd love it if they managed to do it, much more palatable than Chelsea or one of the Manchesters winning again.

They have a chance but I think the squad will see them come up short.

Great options in midfield but if Giroud gets injured then then Bentner ain't going to win you the league.

If they manage to sign a top striker in Jan (very tough to do) then they may just do it.

Have to hold my hands up on Ramsey, really thought he was crap (top level wise) for a long time after injury. But he has been really really exceptional recently

I think they may need to spend in January, just in case Giroud gets injured..

Benteke would be ideal for them.

(Not that I want him to go, but it is yet another team who would be suited by Tekkers)

While the fixture list has been kind to them, they have had a couple of big tests other than us.  The beat Spurs when everybody was expecting Spurs to win, and they played an excellent Napoli side off the park in the Champions League.  They've got Palace next week which they will probably win but then they have a four game run where they play Chelsea, Liverpool, Dortmund and Manchester United. If they come through that with two or three wins then I think we can talk about them as serious contenders.

Stronger and fitter and now has ultimate confidence. Its said that British players don't have skill but some of the skills Ramsey showed yesterday were fantastic.

I agree on every single point. If they get an injury to Giroud or one of 2 or 3 other key players it will derail any chance they have.

We have to remember they had a fantastic run at the backend of last season which got them into the top 4 . The Chelsea, Liverpool and Man U games coming up may show us whether they are serious title contenders. They have an abundance of talent in midfield, Walcott could play upfront when hes fit. Good goalkeeper, defence is better than it was. I don't see why they cant win the league. For me its between them, Chelsea and City.
