Maguire refusing to leave and costing them a £30M fee 😂

I wonder if it’s ego (thinks he’s above West Ham) or whether it’s just a tactic to get a big payoff from United.

I think he probably believes he's good enough for Man Utd. He doesn't seem the most self aware of his abilities..

They've put out a Greenwood statement with a bunch of spiel about how 'no decision has been made' but waffling about 'partial evidence' (not even denying that it fking happened?) and their 'responsibility' to Greenwood.

The Athletic, however, have simultaneously published that United have known they're bringing him back for weeks. Absolutely fking vile.

Probably both.  Will be funny when he gets replaced in the England team by Colwil.

This will not end well.

The big show will not appreciate the disruption to its schedules as games are held up and there are protests on the pitch everywhere this boy plays.

Manchester United will not appreciate it when someone hits him with a bottle somewhere.

It's a horror show waiting to happen.

The league really ought to be having a quiet word.

What 'full evidence' exonerates the 'partial evidence'? Why do Man United feel that their responsibility towards Greenwood is more than their responsibility towards fans (at least not the disgusting ones) and women? If this was a youth player he'd have been gone years ago. Gets away with r*pe because he happens to be very good at football: same applies to Partey as well.

Not even the first time the scumbag ten Hag has supported stuff like this: he was fully supportive of serial sex offender Overmars too. Absolutely sick of football and people sometimes.

The crazy thing is he's not even good enough to warrant this, as a purely business decision. It should be a no-brainer. It's not even like they're trying not to squander a transfer fee as he's from their academy. Utterly bizarre.

Revolting. But concerning is there will be a substantial number of shitbag United fans who will welcome him back. Football fans are sadly often pure scum. Tribalistic to a psychotic degree to defend the shirt.

If they get him to some sort of form, he could leave for the Saudi in a £40m deal. Maybe that's the plan.
