Con
If Moyes survives this year it may be a good thing he didn't buy last summer. He can point the finger at Alex Ferguson for the lack of quality in the team. And Alex Ferguson will say that team won the league by 11 points when he was the manager. Disney physics. VillaChris
They just look a mid table team without Rooney and RVP. Bizarre how we keep on crumbling to them time and again despite giving other teams in the top 6 a decent game.

Con
Ki bossed the game for Sunderland. it says something when Man Utd don't have a player as good as him. Carrick still has quality but it's a case of one game too many this season, very jaded, there was much more vigour about Ki. Still too early for them to bring prospect Powell back from his loan at Wigan. Don't see why this Utd side won't get a 4-5 goal drubbing at some point if they don't bring in new personnel. bradarmstrong_
Their best player tonight was Januzaj and that says so much about the state of United at the minute. An 18 year old was pretty much their only attacking threat. I do think Moyes was let down by the board in the summer, he obviously identified targets and failed to get them in, the injuries to RVP and Rooney aren't helping him either. Need some huge transfer windows this year.

samjp26
First time they've lost 3 in a row since 2001. Fergie looked quite unhappy after the game, poor Manure ey!
bradarmstrong_
No doubting that, he's a serious talent, but he shouldn't be carrying the likes of Valenica and Welbeck through games.

The_Rev
First time they've lost 3 in a row since 2001. Fergie looked quite unhappy after the game, poor Manure ey! And of course, when they lost three in a row in 2001 they had already won the title. The three games they lost were the final three games of the season. Just checked the history books (and by that I mean Wikipedia) and they last time they lost three games in a row in the middle of the season was in 1996/97, a run which included a couple of very famous defeats, the 5-0 at Newcastle and a week later the 6-3 at Southampton. They still won the league though.
