But I’m curious about what happens with Richarlison,

The same thing that would have happened if they hadn't signed solanke, he would be rubbish. Just like he was rubbish before they signed him and before everton signed him. If he wasn't brazilian he would be a £10m  player.

Why not? He got 19 at Bournemouth, he will get many more chances to score at Spurs.

football doesnt work that way though. Many players have had breakout seasons and it didnt work he next season or when moved onto a different team

look at Scott Hogan here for example

10 years ago £65 million got you the best number 9 in the world at the time (Suarez), now it gets you an England one cap wonder striker who has only hit double figures once in the premier league, Take his Championship goals and appearances out of his record and he’s scored 40 goals in 177 games. Madness.

He's 27 this year and he's had one good season and previously struggled like mad under expectation and a price tag (had to drop down to the Championship)

I think it's a terrible piece of business.

Why is he of all people captain of Bayern??

He's not, it's neuer, then Muller, then kimmich then goretzka

Edit - the truth to the story is that he was only captain because everyone else was subbed off, he's not looking for someone else to lift it because of spurs, he's looking for someone else because it's actually their job

If Solanke doesn't score 20 next season he's a flop. It's a lot of pressure on someone closer to 30 who managed one very good season in the top flight. Richarlison at £60m and only 12 league goals in 55 games for Spurs is also a major flop.

Think Solanke will get 15+ PL goals for 3 seasons but then they have 3 more years on his contract. Good signing, bit too pricey but too long contract. Guess the salary might be on the low-ish side considering the length of the contract?

He isnt a great signing but he wont be 30 until the 27/28 season. Its a while away
