I thought they were headed for a 10th/11th placed finish given how much worse I thought they'd be getting, but they actually look stronger. Talk of Tomayasu a right sided defender coming in, as well as waiting in the wings if Chelsea fail to land Kounde (apparently there's a Sanchez + 30m agreement already in place but the player prefers Chelsea).
