Various ailments are given which require half an hour with the wire brush up their arse (including chronic piles). Each soldier is then asked what is ambition is and they all reply it's to get back to the front. Until the last soldier who has chronic mouth ulcers requiring half an hour with a wire brush. His ambition is to get to he wire brush before the others. Edited April 12 by sidcow

As it happens, I actually went to Lidl especially for a middle aisle item the other week, a wire brush Presumably your chest hair needed untangling again? rodders0223
Watching everybody loves Raymond. Now I make be expecting too much of people who have to consistently create situations of conflict...but... Ray gets a letter from Muhammed Ali puts it in a draw and his wife accidently throws it out. What she immediately does is confide in the mother in law what she did. In reality you deny it to the day you die, nobody knows what you did but you. You never saw the letter, you never threw it out, and over time you convince them into thinking they lost it...like a normal person does, your standard gaslighting. This should have been a 3 minute episode tops, or a four decade spanning epic.

Mark Albrighton Posted April 13 VT Supporter Share Posted April 13 I think the idea is Deborah (the wife) is a more honest character and has to confess to someone. I think it’s believable she’d confide in someone. That person being her antagonistic and disapproving mother in law is less believable.

It's like with casinos. The only way they don't make money is if Trump runs them.

rodders0223
I had some wireless headphones bought about 5 years ago, lasted me until now. Brilliant. Bought some new ones, same brand. They're great but unlike the old ones , they don't shut themselves off after inactivity. You have to remember to click them off after you've used, which after 5 years with the previous pair and just taking them off my head has proven impossible. 5 years of technology advancement and they're worse than the old ones. They're constantly dead.

I only wear them in the gym so don't really need to chuck that level of money at them but likewise I used to finish my work out and forget to turn the poxy things off got some JBL ones instead ... rather cunningly the headphones power up when you move the over ear thingy's into place to wear them , and then when you take them off it clicks back into place and turns them off and as I'm not Shania Twain , I am pretty impressed by this Edited April 16 by tonyh29
