I caved in and paid for premium.

Same, and it supposedly pays the creators more than ads.

Serving video content is highly expensive and only Youtube (With google ownership as the AD-specialist) has managed to turn a somewhat profit of only ads and at the same time paying it's creators. All other video-services I know of, that are not subscriber funded are bleeding money.

Adverts on YouTube. Not the concept, just the frequency of them now.

They’re getting insane.

Im watching a video now. It’s 55 mins long. The first advert break was 90 seconds into the video, after having adverts before the video too. I’m 35 minutes on and just hit my 6th advert break.

I use a free app on my android phone for YouTube, and it blocks all adverts. "Free Adblocker Browser" is the name of the app. Works really well.

All sorts of carnage on the train line to Waterloo , delays and cancellations galore …Told us to get off the train we were on at Virginia water as there was a quicker one on platform one … once we all got on it the “slower train “left and then they cancelled the train we’d all just got on !!!  Got to wait 45 mins for the next one now

Cheers. This is on my tv but I’ll bear that in mind. I use an ad blocker on my laptop

I’ve noticed that YT adverts seem more frequent and longer when casting to a TV or using the TV app… not sure if that’s true or just how it feels but it certainly feels that way.

I looked at premium, and if it was around a fiver a month I would go for it, but £12!? That seems a lot.

Same.

The £12 includes YT Music, which is not something I want. I have Spotify for that.

Totally agree, plus Netflix, and Sky and Prime… getting rinsed every month so not paying £12 YT too

So do I. But I like both Neil Young and Joni Mitchell, so the YT Music has its use.

Office day today. Left at 4:30pm, had a few pints, got home at 7pm.

Quick glance at work phone. 44 unread emails and 2 voicemails.

TalkSport stll going on about Deli Ali, like he's the only footballer or even person who's ever had childhood issues.

Ex footballers "addiction to sleeping tablets, never heard if that". F*** right off!!

You're posting in this thread, suggesting you know this shouldn't piss you off but it does.

Are you ok?

It pisses me off, cause its being reported like he's the only one with issues.

Just wish Simon Jordon was on to give it some reality context.

Is it? Do you have any quotes to illustrate this?

As I seriously can’t be arsed listening to TalkShite and it certainly wasn’t the way it was being reported yesterday in shall we say less sensational media outlets

I've obviously seen what it's about but not the interview or any other reports but the coverage will most likely help though. Of course he's not the only one to have these issues or similar but if it gives 1 person the courage to report an issue or get their own help then it's worthwhile not just for Alli himself but anybody else.

How many footballers have come out and had such a candid interview about it?

Surely it's a good thing that it's out and open, as it'll encourage more people to come out and talk about their issues, rather than hide them and cause further issues down the line?
