Popular Post mottaloo
A friend on fb has posted their congrats to one of their mates for giving birth to a girl......and they've called her Beau - Lily. Now, I'm a grammar nazi at the best of times but the inaccuracy of the given name is really gnawing at me : Beau = beautiful (male tense) Belle = beautiful (female tense). It's none of my business and they don't even know me, but the number of times I've almost commented is too many and I'm not sure I'm capable of holding back much longer ! You have more self-restraint than me. A couple we vaguely knew (friends of friends) named their daughters Madelaine and Dorothy. Or, as I pointed out to them, Mad and Dotty. They weren't amused.

mottaloo
Yes, of course - gender. See ? My trembling outrage at their ignorance has affected my own ability to express moi-même !!

But that was 30 years ago, not sure there's even such a thing as Docks Police anymore. There most certainly is. Here on Murkeyside we have... Maybe the kid will be raised as 'gender neutral' and will identify as a male in the future... or a gender fluid non binary pangender entity. Or some such attention seeking bollocks.

Certain areas (and Merseyside is one) utilise them as first responders and armed response. Speed near a nuclear power station and you'll definitely be able to add them to your speeding ticket collection.

Mandy Lifeboats
Civil Nuclear Constabulary officers are easy to deal with. Show them a mushroom and they run for miles*. *oh how they laugh....no-one has ever done that before.
Rugeley Villa
Having to get up an extra hour earlier in the morning. 5.20 now and again I'm up at that time at weekend, but hate getting up for work that early.

V01
5 or 6 purchases of varying necessity, id planned on getting most of them in the next few months but the savings made it worth getting them now. Added bonus of another post for the thread. Out for delivery today, not a problem I'm in. Hear the letterbox go so I check, we missed you card. Go outside and guy is getting in his van, your neighbours didn't answer so your parcels are at the shop. I'm in mate you should have knocked the door. He mumbled something and drove off. sharkyvilla
Packets that have 'Cut along here' written at the top of them. Nah I think I'll hold it up and cut from the bottom so the contents fall out all over my socks instead.
dAVe80
With the whole Bradley Lowrey thing, and people wearing football shirts in work today (which I fully support), is the amount of Manc supporting rats there appears to be in my office. Also disappointing to see who some of the hot lasses support too.

The other 20+ have been mainly Chelsea with a few Liverpool and Arsenal tops.
