B94villa
The brother in law adores Lovejoy, so i get to enjoy him regularly. I remember once they had a woman on who specialised in matching perfumes to different things like colours, items of clothing etc. (there's probably a name for it, not that he asked). Rather than let this woman speak, Lovejoy took the opportunity to interject approximately every six words about how he couldn't wear aftershave because it gave him headaches or something. The woman then tried to tell him there was a name for his condition, but he talked over her again (probably worried it might be a legitimate medical condition and not proof that he's some sort of highly evolved being). It was hilarious viewing, she'd get him to smell about twenty samples, all corresponding to different things, and his response to every single one was "Nah, see that's too chemical-y". You could see she was starting to get annoyed at this point, and after a few more detailed explanations of how he couldn't be doing with all the chemically stuff, she snapped and pointed out "Yes, well, everything is made of chemicals Tim, even you!" The look on his face was that of a man who'd stared into the yawning jaws of infinity and seen a massive word removed looking back at him.

Stevo985 Posted April 7, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted April 7, 2015 (edited) Not being able to quit coke/sprite. IVe had litres of the stuff every day since i was a teenager and ive tried to quit about 150x in the past 4 years. I just cant do it. I can last about 2 days but then i "relapse" (lol relapse when talking about a drink ). Starting to get old and my metabolism isnt as fast anymore ! Im getting skinnnyfat but i just cant quit the stuff. sigh. 138 calories in one can of coke. its insane. Addiction is too strong. Nothing beats a nice cold can of coke It's easy. Jut drink diet instead. After a while you'll hate the taste of"normal" coke. Or even, Coke zero which pretty much tastes the same but with no sugar. thats just substituting shit with more shit . Well yes. But the shit you would be drinking then would be zero calories. Which is what you're trying to achieve isn't it? Don't believe the myth of "diet coke is as bad/worse for you than normal coke" It's not true. Edited April 7, 2015 by Stevo985
gharperr
oh wow..haha sorry pie. i didnt think you was being fully serious. I didnt actually know CZ had 0 calories! (i feel like theyre lying to me though!) Was always confused when you used to tell me to stop drinking coke whilst having two bottles of CZ in your fridge. wooo dont have to feel guilty anymore drinking it. So is it only the sugar which provides calories in these drinks? im quite amazed by that...thought all the other shit would have provided some Edited April 7, 2015 by gharperr

PompeyVillan
I love a good coke. Had one last weekend. In between several pints of fine English ale, I had a bit of a lull, I felt lethargic and sleepy. So I had a coke and the the sugary, caffeinated goodness rejuvenated my flagging body and spurned me on to bigger and better things. Awesome stuff. Xela
Hit a new low at work today with the state of the toilets. Someone had smeared shit on the outer cubicle door handle. The offending shit smeared toilet paper was on the floor. So, by my methods of Colombo-esque detective skills I have deduced that said dirty bastard had wiped their arse, then opened the cubicle, smeared the filth laden toilet roll on the handle, threw the paper on the floor, pulled up their trousers and left. Scum.
