chrisp65
back to bloody work tomorrow. I'm still in a large Egyptian river. Playing music, cooking cottage pie, planning a trip out shopping for nice things, scheduling watching the Villa game on some stream somewhere.
Xela
back to bloody work tomorrow. Yep, not looking forward to it. Although I've worked all over Christmas and New Year, its been very relaxed and quiet and not full days. Back to normal tomorrow
Xann
They usually don't get away with prices like that, and they have to stop publishing new magazines, leaving some poor sods with £300 spent on an unrecognisable 1/3 built plastic piece of shit. Yeah - These companies very rarely see the project through to the end. It's sharp practice really.

limpid Posted January 4, 2015 Administrator Share Posted January 4, 2015 buy the lego, give her the receipt best case, she gives you the money worst case, you have legitimately bought the lego millenium falcon and she has gone back on the deal and you can make her feel bad - but you have it

sharkyvilla
I'm still off with my broken finger until at least Thursday and am absolutely gagging to go back to work. I've resorted to posting in the on topic section far too much to pass the time. Some of the posters really aren't good for my mental wellbeing. Ginko
So... what do you do for a job that you can't do with a broken finger? I assume it's not typing related as you've just admitted you've been posting in On Topic a lot

I assume it's not typing related as you've just admitted you've been posting in On Topic a lot I'm a baker. I can't get my dressing wet so I can't work with the dough, plus I injured it at work so they have to get clearance from the hand specialist for insurance purposes or something. All in all the novelty of having extra time off has worn pretty thin, even without getting sucked in by Internet troll mongs.
Ginko
Ah, well that makes total sense then. I wish I could bake, and cook. I'm rubbish at those things. I do play guitar and I'm a demon in the sack though.

Stevo985 Posted January 4, 2015 VT Supporter Share Posted January 4, 2015 A pet hate of mine. When a commentator says "he gave the keeper no chance" when the keeper clearly did have a chance. Blues' second goal vs Blyth Spartans. The long ball one. It was terrible goalkeeping. I'm not slating him, he's a non league keeper. But he's basically dived out of the way. Yet the commentators says "Oh and he's given the keeper no chance WHATSOEVER!" He dived out of the way! How is that no chance whatsoever?!?! Wainy316
Similarly when a shot is off target and the commentator says "if that was on target, that would have been a goal", makes no sense because you are completely changing where the ball is and thus it has nothing to do with the shot. Depends where about on target it went "if that had not been blocked and been on target and out of the reach of the goalkeeper, that would have been a goal" would suffice.
