jonno_2004
I had a shite phone when I was around 13 - thought it was the dogs, naturally.
BOF Posted February 15, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 15, 2011 If it was 20 years ago I'd say she'll learn to programme on it. But nowadays I think Mike is hinting at a bigger issue. Parenting. WTF is a parent doing giving a laptop to a 6 year old. Same goes for giving mobile phones to kids of that age. Let kids be kids. YLN
Nice Mike. On a similar note, last night my least favourite of my friend group (In fact I don't like him at all, but he's there. Annoying as ****) thought it would be interesting to google 'child porn', to the amazement of everyone else in the room. He didn't click on any of the links, but merely remarked that there were actual sites where it was available. Coupled with certain unsolicited images which have appeared on this screen over the years from visiting legal sites for research purposes, I'm definitely on a file somewhere now. And this concludes the case for the defence, your honour.
YLN
Myself and my father brought another father and son to the Villa Fulham game. The son was 10 years old and had an iPhone. It made me sad. He was getting on WiFi in cafes while I was looking at my two year old phone with utter contempt and wanting to post on VT from Birmingham
wiggyrichard
Yillan...trust me when i say you need to get some new mates. Why did no-one stop him? When was or would that ever be a good idea!?
Genie
Yes yillan, I think judges up and down the land have all heard the 'research purposes' excuse now so probably best to think up a new one.
BOF Posted February 15, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 15, 2011 There are certain things you look up out of morbid curiosity that you have absolutely no interest in; or that you wonder if they're there at all. Child porn is definitely not one of those things.
YLN
Everyone shouted don't when he said he was going to do it, but then he justified it by saying that he wouldn't click on any of the sites and he already had it done. He is a thick as shit ignorant Roscommon man the size of a house and I'd hoped he'd have failed out of the course long ago, but he keeps hanging on. What could we do to stop him like when he was in control of the laptop?
theunderstudy
Yeah, I have NEVER thought "I'll Google 'child porn'". However I have thought to myself "I'll surf urban dictionary" whereupon I stumbled upon 'mung'.* * DON'T Google it. Forget about its exiastence, its **** disgusting. BOF Posted February 15, 2011 Moderator Share Posted February 15, 2011 She's got alopecia you insensitive ****... Given that Mike didn't know this, I think that's harsh. It's only insensitive if he knew and ignored it.

legov
Should this be in this thread? I'm not sure if it qualifies as something that pisses me off but it's been on my mind a while (hi I'm here again ) Anyway the next time a vegetarian starts preaching about how humans are not meant to eat meat someone should send him/her into the wild to try his/her hand at hunter-gathering, see how long he/she lasts before going insane from hunger. It's a fact that humans were meant to have meat as a substantial if not the major part of our diets, most if not all creatures our size rely either on hunting or grazing/browsing (which humans cannot do)
