maqroll
I had an eye doctor appointment yesterday (first time at that office), and when I entered the building and approached the front desk, the women behind the desk just looked at me blankly. I had to initiate the hellos and explain to them why I was there. I don't look particularly scary or unusual, so I was a little miffed at the lack of courtesy. I got an email from the practice today, asking me to fill out a survey and make suggestions/comments. I filled it out and included the awkward front desk encounter. But I deleted it and never responded back. Something about it felt like I'd be ratting those old ladies out and maybe creating problems for them. But the lack of professional courtesy is really irritating, and you'd think women in their 60's would have better manners than that in an office setting.... troon_villan
Overheard flat mate slagging me off. Came home unexpected as she thought I had moved out. Heard her bitching about me to another old flatmate on the phone. The awkwardness when she realised I had heard her was funny. But hey that's life, the earth keeps turning. Did you proceed to DHUTWU? CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Bastard neighbour left their yappy bastard dogs outside at this time of day. Might chuck a water balloon at them.
Paddywhack
The lad behind me at work rocks back and forth slightly all day, everyday and it makes his chair squeak. Does my fricking nut in. I tried saying 'Is there a mouse in here?', but that didn't stop him. Yesterday I said 'Oh, it's your chair squeaking, I've been wondering what that was.' Today I might have to take it up a notch and say something really mean, like 'Can you stop it, please?' I'm nervous, I don;t like confrontation. I also work in an office, so know the exact perfect answer to this problem. Complain that you have back problems or some such, and have a specialist chair. Big one with a head rest, one of those little hand pumps that are incredibly satisfying, all adjustable, the whole shebang. He will become insanely jealous and request one too. Those **** don't squeak, let me tell you.
Paddywhack
Our place is littered with them chairs, people leave and don't take their special chairs with them. 'Special Chair Graveyard' - great album name.

shaggy
Hopefully though you will get some address, can you recall any details, the persons user name/location, potentially any email address. Lets track this swine down. I have emailed Ebay for his address. He has already purchased on Ebay from a mobile company who have left him positive feedback. He would have used a card to make payment. I also have his account number which he gave me to make payment which was an account with the Halifax so the Police should be able to get his address from his account details but he may have used a fake address? I also have all messages in my Ebay messages account showing the agreed sale but to tell you the truth I'm just not confident at all that I'll see my money again. I suppose it serves me right for trusting anyone and I've actually felt physically sick all day. Just feel my very soul has been raped. No matter. The thing is to put it down to experience and not make the same mistake again which I won't. A big thank you for the concern. Sorry, but ebay will not give you this information. Take it to the police and let them ask ebay. Hopefully though you will get some address, can you recall any details, the persons user name/location, potentially any email address. Complaint has gone into my bank through the financial ombudsman because my bank did not issue a chargeback for me and I'm going to the Police tomorrow when I get the relevant paperwork copied, bank statement showing payment, his bank account number, all ebay messages and the item number of his auction. I will follow your advice and tell the Police to contact ebay. Thanks for your advice.
