Yeah you should not care about the person who gave birth to you and is responsible for your existence. Anyway I am close to my family, and we're not gonna agree on this, so lets just agree to disagree. If you have kids in the future, I hope your attitude changes. I'd have been responsible for bringing them into the world and it'd be in my best interests to see them do well. I'm grateful to my mother for giving me life but I don't have to like her because of it. It's a bit of a stretch to assume that because I don't care for my family I'd be a neglectful parent.
