PaulC
I thought Tyranosaur was brilliant, and by association, that whole Ken Loach look and feel (I know Ty wasn't a Loach but you get the point). Tyranosaur was brutal and compelling. Yes good film that, Olivia Colman was especially good in it.

Designer1 Posted July 7, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted July 7, 2013 Naked (no love for Mike Leigh??) Yes, he's one of my favourite directors. As for Naked, it's an acting masterclass from David Thewlis. Brilliant movie.

leviramsey Posted July 8, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted July 8, 2013 Has anyone mentioned scum or quadrophenia? 2 awesome films I went to see these on a double bill when they came out, at the Capitol, Ward End. Me and two mates, bikers, leather gear, helmets...gets inside and its full of parka-wearing mod tossers Strangely they didn't make any trouble... Surprised you haven't gone for something from Viv Thomas...
