isgill88
Spurs have finished 5th for the last two seasons, are in Europe (obviously) and have a squad who's average age is about 26. They also have a highly respected Dutch manager. To Wesley Sneijder, they must seem a much more appealing club than Villa.

chris25
if we do sign another keepere does anyone think sorrenson will stay and play second fiddle?
tehnath
if we do sign another keepere does anyone think sorrenson will stay and play second fiddle? I reckon so. I couldn't see Taylor staying too long if we did though. Sorensen is a good keeper, and I think he'd be up for the competition. It must be pretty tricky to motivate a second fiddle goalkeeper when there's only one place available on the day.

Your assuming he is even friends with Bouma, not all dutch people are automatically friends with each other. If it is indeed between us and Spurs then they have a greater pull imo, this is not at all similar to the Young scenario. Saying that neither Spurs or Villa could be even interested. Gavin@villatalk
well a few players being shipped out (JLS, Maccy, Henrie) and others being linked with a move (Davis, Ridgewell) it seems that MON is clearing the decks. Theres enough time to bring in new faces... we'll just have to wait!
Wainy316
At 667 pages, is this officially the longest thread of all time? Can't think of a time where that figure has been bettered.
Denis_B
I hardly think 'better' and this thread can be used in the same sentence TBH
Wainy316
Bettered in terms of number of pages. Obviously the quality of posts are poor, (for example this one), but the quantity is impressive.
