Mantis
Jesus, are some people seriously suggesting that it was a wrong decision to loan out Bent (with most if not all of the wages covered)? Edited October 11, 2013 by Mantis
P3te
Jesus, are some people seriously suggesting that it was a wrong decision to loan out Bent (with most if not all of the wages covered)? Course they are. Had we kept him that would've been the wrong decision too
Guest
Bent was a bad influence. I'm more than happy with our attacking line up. It's the one part of our squad I think is top 6.
AVTuco Posted October 13, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted October 13, 2013 I don't agree that Bent was a bad influence, but maybe this thread should be about Nicklas. I really hope he gets his chance. He's a real player (one day).
LockStockVilla
I'd like to see a bit more of him. Later in the matches when Lambert usually brings on Tonev, I think he should start considering giving Helenius some chances to impress.
Isa
Not sure what he needs to do to get game time? Hate it when managers sign players then don't use them.
AntrimBlack
He looked good preseason. Considering Weimann's form, I am surprised he has not got on at some stage.
VillaChris
I have to agree, I think he's been unlucky not to get more minutes this season.
vandaq
He will. He has said he didnt expect too, and he was surprised he got it as early as he did. One good match is all he needs, and if he is going to be used out wide then replace weimann as he is really s*** at the moment.
AVTuco Posted October 21, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted October 21, 2013 Put Nicklas in in place of Andi. See what happens. It can cause no harm.
PaulC
Put Nicklas in in place of Andi. See what happens. It can cause no harm. On the right wing. It could cause us quite a bit of harm when you consider all the work Weimann does up and down the pitch, covering the fullback.

I just think Nicklas should get a chance and Andi's got quite a few already.
PaulC
To be fair i would must rather have seen him play instead of Kozak.
The Fun Factory
From what I have (briefly) seen of him he needs to bulk up a bit. But looks a good prospect. Put it this way he costs a tenth of Andy Carroll, has played already for Denmark and his only in his early 20s. I have a feeling he might 'break' into the team in the last few months of the season, like Weimann did under McClueless as few yrs back. Big_John_10
I was really excited about this signing but how crap must he currently be if he can't get a chance in this team?
Isa
I was really excited about this signing but how crap must he currently be if he can't get a chance in this team? The shame though is that I don't think he has looked crap in the glimpses we've seem of him. Maybe Lambert sees something different in training? Cliffy Biro
Well he keeps playing wiemann so hes obviously seeing things much differently to us, kozak coming on instead of the more creative helenius tells you everything about our approach to this game. Hooooooooooof!
Avfc96
How this guy does not get a game is mystifying. Kozak has been given a chance and shown he is not up to it, so why Lambert decides to bring Kozak on instead of Helenius is baffling.
Dr_Pangloss
Despite his height Helenius looks too lightweight for this league right now, I agree with the comment above that he needs to bulk up. I don't think he's ready for English football yet. He'll probably be introduced slowly.

Lets see how Benteke and Kozak perform up front together.
