DelboyVilla
I hope he leaves us having had a good season. Not one interrupted and bitty Better the season bigger the transfer fee!
villaglint
I have every confidence we will keep him for a couple more years and then give him away for free. Seems to be the business plan at the moment.

Seems to be the business plan at the moment. Obviously you can't make people sign contracts they don't want to sign. If the owner doesn't want to shower the player with cash to make him stay, there's not a lot you can do if a player figures his options are better elsewhere. Hope you're not aiming this at the manager (you wouldn't be the first to hang this stuff on Lambert, if that's what you're doing).
villaglint
Ha.. VT is such a tetchy place. I'm not hanging anything on anyone. Nothing to see here..carry on. It was kind of a joke but its probably true which I guess makes us the joke. Edited November 14, 2014 by villaglint
CrackpotForeigner
It is pretty tetchy, and I'm probably partly responsible, along with the actual team, who keep bloody losing But I do think there's a lot of misdirected anger around the contracts issue. DCJonah
I said it in the delph thread. You can't blame Lambert for the contracts offered and the timing of when they're offered. You can partly blame him for his role in creating a club where these good players don't want to be.
bobzy
Alex Kiwomya? Is he related to Chris? At the risk of being involved in some in-joke that I'm not aware of... ...I think he's his nephew.
VillaChris
I'll always fondly remember him for 12/13. Just incredible for the run in. At the same thing what a waste he's never for instance played with a number 10 style player in the midfield. He's done very well in spite of our inadequacies in the team,. I doubt he will be here beyond next summer Will sound out for a move through his agent he will want to play for a club with bigger ambitions than staying in the division every season playing shite football and who can blame him? Difference? Difference in what? Accents? - not an expert but Ireland and n Ireland accents will sound similar to anyone who isn't really familiar with those accents. Be like me not being able to recognise different accents in Belgium. Northern Ireland is part of uk tho where as Ireland is not. Scotland is completely different but again I suppose that would come with being familiar with both accents.

PaulC
Origi prefered to him in the starting 11 for Belgium against Wales. I'm a little surprised by that. Could be a classic game!
