Cliffy Biro
To be fair hes been in one since the first season ended, he never got into the swing of things fully last season because of injuries and now hes being risked again because were so desperate for him to be in the 11. dont_do_it_doug.
I think any fears over Benteke's physical prowess, in particular his leap, not being what it was are busy being crushed. Looks close to his best, just needs a goal. Edited November 2, 2014 by dont_do_it_doug.
dont_do_it_doug.
Crazy decision. Will surely get rescinded? He had a head in his mush!
P3te
Crazy decision. Will surely get rescinded? He had a head in his mush! You'd hope we'll be appealing it on the grounds of complete lack of common sense - plus the ref has now ignited the game in a negative way
Stevo985 Posted November 2, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted November 2, 2014 He raised his hand into the other guy's face. It's a red card regardless of what happened to him. Out for 3 games now. Devastating.

Popular Post The_Rev
Crazy decision. Will surely get rescinded? He had a head in his mush! Correct decision. It's the stupidest possible way to get a three game ban, if you are getting sent off for violent conduct then you might as well do it properly.
jacketspuds
Was an idiot today. We need a new manager to get Benteke's head out of his arse and start delivering.

Isa
That was a blatant red-card. You have to be pretty blinkered to think otherwise.
JoeParker91
I can't defend him at all for his red card, cost us the 3 points today. I've only seen the incident once but he barged Mason originally, then took a right footed swipe which was worse than what he did after. It was as soft as a hand to the face red card you'll see but he should never have put the referee in that position to make the decision. It is a real shame as he looked fantastic first half and we'll really miss him in the next 3 games which I think ultimately, will be more of a nail in the coffin for Lambert than todays result was. PaulC
Yes and its not just these 3 points, its the next 3 games where we need to pick up points without our best player.
Swerbs
It was a red card, we're just all angry that Spurs never got any red cards during the game.
