samjp26
There is a 20% sell on clause as well as the 2x €100,000 clauses for A.) Participating in over 50% of our league games this season and B.) Villa staying in the Premier League. Possibly more clauses but those are what I know.
Papillon
Arsenal interested in Leandro Bacuna as a replacement for Bacary Sagna you say? Obviously bullshit. Now Bacuna has been decent, mostly because he has scored five goals this season already, including a few quality free-kicks. However, as a defender he is awful. He completely lacks defensive nous and positional awareness, which you know, is pretty important. He is never going to be a good defender and surely not one for Arsenal. All his ability is in going forward, and it's not like he is awesome every weekend.

And Redmond and Baines and Gouffran. But yeah, he is awful defensively, 100%.
LordSepulchrave
He dominated Gouffran when we played Newcastle too. His defensive qualities are what have really impressed me lately.
PaulC
Yes i think potentially he will make a great RB but I don't think there's any truth in the Arsenal rumour.
VillaChris
I'd imagine he'll get a new contract at the end of the season given he must be on pretty low wages coming from Gronigen. Just hope his form doesn't plummet next year like Lowton and Westwood for long spells this year.
Paddywhack
The biggest problem with Bacuna being our first choice right back is that he has been given the number 7 shirt. I mean, are we really going to be comfortable with that, a right back wearing number 7..!?
AVFCforever1991
We should give him the number 10 shirt, give Benteke #1 shirt and Guzan the number 9. Edited March 20, 2014 by AVFCforever1991

donnie
If Everton have thrown £25 million at them for Coleman then that should be the price for bacuna! Why should it?? Coleman has been consistently brillaint for the last 2 seasons now. Is the best right back in the premiership and is arguably up there with one of the best right backs in europe on form right now. Bacuna has had a mixed bag of a season, some pretty awful performances but recently some excellent performances. No way is bacuna on the same level as coleman. I love bacuna though. Starting to look at home at right back considering how poor he looked at the start. Wont get too excited until he has had a second season in the prem when the true test of his qualities will be proven.

Obviously he's not worth that kind of money, but if we're not interested in selling him then that should be our price tag to scare them off. And if thet doesn't scare them off (More than unlikely, all but impossible) well, then we get very good money for him. Ok, £5m is exaggerating, of course, but still. Put a hefty price tag on him just to let them know that we're not interested in selling and we do sell him that'll cost them more than he's worth. Isa
Other than the Fulham and West Brom games earlier in the season, which other 'awful' games did Bacuna have? I'm genuinely curious to know.
