tonyh29
But I'm utterly convinced that if people in both 'developed' and 'developing' countries had more opportunities and a fairer shot at improving their lives, a lot of the world's bullshit would go down the drain. So in other words " vote Tory "
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
No thanks. A rampant free market, greater inequality and a firesale of public services is not the future I want. Vote Tory if you want a continuation of the current trends. If you live a comfortable life, then I can see the appeal. You can vote Labour if you want that too, for what it's worth. snowychap
Vote for Pedro. Wise though he may be, I'd like to see Mr Bland's manifesto before I commit my pen to paper.
snowychap
But we've all read animal farm... Have you bollocks. ...we all know how revolution ends ... Given the 'adaptation' you probably watched, I'm not sure we want to know how sad (or otherwise) the 'ending' was. Xann
Nigel Farage’s right-hand man has branded the NHS “the biggest waste of money in the UK” and compared the health service to Nazi Germany. In a series of astonishing remarks, UKIP secretary general Matthew Richardson condemned the NHS and called for it to be privatised. His comments – made to an American audience and revealed by the Sunday Mirror – will be a huge embarrassment to leader Mr Farage, who is now facing calls to axe his Mr Richardson. A City barrister hired by Ukip to keep “bad stuff” out of the media, bespectacled Mr Richardson, 34, explosively compared the NHS – cherished by millions as Britain’s greatest post-war achievement – to Adolf Hitler’s Nazi Germany. Speaking at two events for right-wing activists in Washington, he launched a ferocious attack on the service, blaming it for much of the nation’s debts. He said: “A number I couldn’t possibly imagine when I was younger is now the amount of money that is owed by my country... of course, at the heart of this, the Reichstag bunker of socialism, is the National Health Service. Mirror Someone tell him it was the socialists that bust into the Reichstag. Surprised Fox wasn't there broadcasting it all as gospel.
Mantis
It was a ridiculous comparison no doubt, but the Soviets were barely better than the Nazis. There's a reason why the Eastern Front was so much more brutal than the Western and North African fronts.

Popular Post bickster Posted January 25, 2015 Author Moderator Popular Post Share Posted January 25, 2015 This along with the recent leaked UKIP minutes stating that they'd love to privatise the NHS but to say so would be electoral suicide, should prove to the idiots that want to vote for the kippers as an alternative to the mainstream that this isn't the place to express their dissatisfaction with the current two party state. If a UKIP / Conservative coalition government were elected in May, then it would be the Conservatives who would be the "moderating" influence on policy. That is a frightening prospect
