kurtsimonw
First walk off grand slam since 1991! Harvey gave up 3 runs through 6 though. Useless. Trade!
kurtsimonw
2 gifs I thought were really cool. Dickey the unhittable Darvish's pitches on top of each other

maqroll
Look at the power Darvish generates from his plant foot. Fierce.
maqroll
Meanwhile, Clay Buchholz is 5-0 and the early frontrunner for the Cy Young. 10 K's last night, the dude is dealing.
kurtsimonw
I have Mr. Buccholz in my fantasy team as well. He and Sabathia saving my asses in the pitching categories after Halladay's and Gallardo's awful start to the year!

kurtsimonw
What's the worst record in MLB history? Are the Marlins on pace for it because they're so bad it's ridiculous. Stanton needs to get out ASAP. He's literally not getting a single pitch to hit this season because everyone knows that so what if he walks? He's going to get him home? leviramsey Posted April 27, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted April 27, 2013 In the modern era (post-1900)?Either the 1916 A's (36-117) or the 1962 Mets (40-120).

kurtsimonw
Big test for Matt Cain tonight, so far this season he's been awful and he failed the test. Mets looking bad. I would say "at least we're not the Marlins", but we did just lose to them!
maqroll
Stanton out for 6 weeks...the only Marlin worth watching...the question is what team will put in the winning bid for him either this July or after the season....
kurtsimonw
I think they may hold on to him for a while. He's still got a few years left and makes next to no money, plus as you said he's the only reason people watch. Lose him and their attendances will get worse (if at all possible?) maqroll
I can see Boston or the Yankees coming in with a big bid in July, and Miami will sell.
ME
*sigh* I can "predict" that once again the Cubs will crush my spirit. I'm already saying we'll get em' next year. Oh well, there's always the Jacksonville Suns who rarely let me down.
maqroll
Cubbies are a few years away. I don't like these veiled threats to leave Wrigley that I've been hearing....
