Troglodyte Posted January 31, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted January 31, 2013 Say keenan, what are those weird little squiggles between all the players' names? Do they serve some kind of purpose?

coda
Looking forward to Wednesday and seeing how a nation who've turned football into an art form, who play with joy and freedom, get on against Brazil.
maqroll
We'll get absolutely larrupped. Brazil have been playing pretty inconsistent as of late, I can see England winning this.

Mantis
We'll get shown up big time. Hodgson's 19th century football will be exposed by a team like Brazil.
Jimzk5
got no intrest in england since woy took over and since our golden generation are all but finished (lampard, gerrard, ferdinand, owen, cole, terry) and there replacements Jonjo shelvey, Henderson, Serling, Welbeck are shit i honestly think we will stuggle to qualify for the WC. Troglodyte Posted February 5, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted February 5, 2013 I'll watch it. Don't get to see some of these Brazilian players too often, so I'll be interested in seeing them play, and looking at what Scolari's doing. England? Meh. I'll be behind them when it comes to tournaments, and therefore I want us to qualify for them, but beyond that I can't really muster any support for them. Without any Villa players, and with several players that I don't particularly like, I certainly don't think I'll find myself actively rooting for them in this game. coda
Brazil are ranked 18th in FIFA/Coca-Cola World Rankings. Should be a comfortable win for England (6th).
Troglodyte Posted February 5, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted February 5, 2013 Yeah, I'm expecting the plucky underdogs to put up a fight, but the result will ultimately be an England victory by five or six goals.

Zatman
Brazil have gone backwards for hiring Big Phil and the fact Ronaldinho is in the squad sort of tells it all. A great player in his day and still an entertainer but he is a aging luxury they can probably do without
