Milfner
A word of warning, Millwall are a very good team. Won 2 of last 8 and been poor since Chris Wood left. I'd describe them as a tough team to beat rather than a "very good team". Edited January 24, 2013 by Milfner
spiezels
For no expectations for this whatsoever, another ground ticked off and a bit of a piss up.
AvfcTheObsession
BBC reporting Dunne and Baker still out. Westwood and Bowery to come back into the squad. I wouldn't play full strength for this, Newcastle game 4 days later is 100x more important.

Bradford were seemingly "tough to beat" and we failed at that at their place. We need a good reaction tomorrow!
8pints
I imagine it's going to be a very physical test so I hope we'll be up to it. I'll say we'll win 2-1 I'd play Bent Bowery Carruthers Delph Westwood Albrighton Stevens Vlaar Clark Lichaj Given Edit - Albrighton injured of course, I'd put N'Zogbia in there in that case. CI
I'd make Ireland Bannan and Delph play as punishment for Tuesdays showing
chappy
We will win this and people on here will criticise Lambert for playing a strong team when he 'should' be resting players for Newcastle. These guys are professional athletes, they can cope with 3 games in 8 days. 3-1 Villa, Benteke, Weimann, Westwood. Their goal from a corner. Daweii
I have a feeling that this will be an easy win for Villa leaving us all wondering why they couldn't do it when it truly mattered just a day or so ago.

Rugeley Villa
How hutton made it professional I don't know, absolute garbage, I was thinking draw at first but I really think we'll see a reaction tomoz night and win but how long it will last I don't know, I'm probaly being very deluded but we'll see
Ron Burgundy
Sorry if anybody has asked already but is the game on TV?????
vandaq
No, not as far as I know. Let bowery, carruthers and others have a stab it. Bent may start. We need everything we got at newcastle, if the players think they can still give 100% at newcastle then whatever, but that is much much more important really. Whatever it takes, do not relegate us you god damn mumbling idiot

Tomaszk
Benteke should be left at home. The tiny chance we've got on staying up really does rely on him for the rest of the season, I don't want him getting injured in a meaningless cup match. VillaForever1970
This is how this game will go...Everyone will spend time posting how this doesn't mean anything blah blah.We are then either shite (again) and these same people will kick off giving the team dogs abuse, after saying it didn't mean anything beforehand (makes sense). We actually win (woo hoo) it them actually means nothing. So basically it only means something if everyone can have a good moan afterwards. Are all football fans like this or just Villa ones? You are missing the point. Obviously some people want us to concentrate more on the league, since it is way more important. I doubt anyone wants us to lose either way, but they could save up some players if needed. A victory is always good but if we fail on tuesday again people will be pissed naturally. Some wants us to go all out to secure a victory, no matter if it is a cup or league. Not everyone has the same opinion. As for fans, I doubt you would like how it was if there was manu, chelsea, lpool fans here. Much more kids. I am guessing that was more of a rhetorical question considering what you said beforehand. But yes, I do get the point you are making.
