This is just not true. There was a bloke in Hampshire convicted of fraud at 72 who got 2 and a half years earlier this year.

I only wanted to sell the lady some Nigerian diamonds, jeez!

In any other time you'd think that being the first current or former president in the history of the union to be convicted of a crime would be enough to finish him but standards in public life have so far degraded on both sides of the Atlantic that people like Trump and our wannabe equivilents over here think they can still get elected and play active roles. What happened to shame?

Melania leaving him.

She should have taken him to the cleaners a long time ago, there'll be nothing left soon

Is it too late for him to be deselected as presidential candidate?

That’s really not going to happen. His campaign fund crashed last night under the weight of donations

Not being married to him is probably incentive enough.

The embarrassment of selling his empire to pay off his fines is hopefully coming up soon. Then Melania leaving him.

His Dad's empire you mean...

As for the Russian spy? She won't be going anywhere, there's intelligence to gather.

Well as a convicted felon he can't vote for himself now.

On the basis of this case, it'll be 9 years before they convict him of election fraud (again) if he does.

As a tax on the stupid he's very effective - "free" Americans who consider the state their enemy and taxes an unneccesary evil consistently pony up to pay his fines to the US government.

He can. He is registered in New York and that state allows felons to vote.

As long as they are not incarcerated at the time of the election…

Why would you deselect him? He's going to win.

Surely there has got to be enough people in the bible belt now questioning Trump.

Questioning him?

His prophecy came to pass. He said the deep state cover was blown and they were out to convict an innocent man on false charges using a kangaroo court with a crooked judge and over zealous air con.. He’s been proved right!

That's good, made me think. If he does get elected will they rename Air Force 1 to Conair. Or maybe snakes on a plane.
