Agree it’s highly unlikely because while his base will be stronger, that’s far too small a percentage to win the general election and he’s not going to get enough from the rest of the voters, it’s plain to see as an outsider who watches it in detail (I’m a sad person I know!). nick76 Posted April 4, 2023 Share Posted April 4, 2023 (edited) It looks fairly bland boiler plate indictment but while boring and seems easy to prove if it had been misdemeanour, can they prove the felony uplift which is the whole case. Parts like, the conversations that defendant directed lawyer to delay payment to women 2 until after the election because then it wouldn’t matter, which indicates not personal but election related which is the second crime thus felony. Does Bragg have enough of this kind of stuff to convict. Shame we have to wait until December now (aside from any motions in the mean time and bluster from Trump).
