They're at "home" to Wrexham in the FA Cup and it's due to be televised. Should be interesting where they end up! Genie
The guy who just bought the club also tried to buy the stadium (for more than Ashley paid) but wasn’t quick enough. I reckon a deal will be done, either Ashley sells for a quick profit or he screws them on rent. If the new owner has money and the long term interests of Coventry at heart he’s gonna need to buy or a build a stadium very quickly.

useless
Small Heath don't own their stadium, they have to pay rent to play there themselves, when Coventry were playing there they were somehow paying less than small heath were according to that Almajir blogger. Yeah but is the person who owns the stadium also a part owner of the club? Effectively they sold stadium to themselves?
useless
They still had to pay rent apparently, that almajir referenced it a few times and the fact that they were actually paying more in rent than Coventry when they were both sharing the ground. Since then they actually sold their stadium a second time, and by then the practice of owners being able to buy their club's stadium seperately as a FFP loophole had been banned, so by rights the person who owns their stadium now shouldn't have any connection to their owners but this has been disputed, again by that almajir. They're currently being investigated by the EFL over whether they have a shadow owner or not, as part of that investigation the ownership of their ground will probably be looked into I imagine, which might affect whether Coventry would be able to ground share with them.

Its been **** years since we played them We've not played them in any competition since the day we sent them down. Some Coventry fans seem to think that Derby winning at Old Trafford is the result that did for them, it wasn't. All you need to do is look at the table and results from that day and be able to count, and while I appreciate this might be an issue for a lot of Coventry supporters you'd think they'd believe the rest of the world. However I'd be surprised if they did get promoted. They aren't mathematically in the Playoffs but it would take a ridiculous set of results to deny them, Cov have got three points and superior goal difference over Sunderland and West Brom, and they face Middlesbrough on the final day a week or so before the two would be due to meet in the playoffs. If ever a game had a "friendly draw" written all over it then it's that one. In the playoffs themselves Middlesbrough and Luton seem miles better than any of the other sides in the race right now and neither of them are going into it broken hearted (remember Leeds in 2018/29?) so they've just been able to focus on preparing for the semi finals.
