Both, I think (mainly cos the single versions aren't always the same edit, or even from the movie sessions themselves), but they're him and orchestra on Studio 2 from the day - it's fab.

Ryuichi Sakomoto - merry christams mr Lawrence will always be my favourite.  I adore this version with Kaori Muraji

As of last weekend, Les Revenants (by Mogwai, apparently).

And yes its excellent, it was on heavy rotation in my car for three months and will almost certainly feature in my albums of the year list

Blade Runner, unreal soundtrack

Also not a movie soundtrack but Final Fantasy 7's soundtrack was pure awesome. Especially One Winged Angel

 

 

 

While I still think this is the saddest piece of music I've ever heard. Still evokes emotion every time I listen to it.

Folks, you don't need to do the url forum code for youtube links, just copy the url from youtube and paste it in your post, simpler and easier one the fingers and the eye

This thread is proof Villans have good taste. Of course the fact they're Villa fans already shows this.

That's probably because Queen, Big Country, and Rush haven't really done film scores.

Jimmy Buffett though....
