leviramsey Posted November 19, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 19, 2012 I think we are starting to see the Patriots' secondary sort itself out with the addition of Talib.
maqroll
Huge pickup by BB getting Talib. Beautiful pick 6 yesterday by him. Luck was clearly rattled by the Foxboro crowd and the national TV game. That must have been his worse start so far. Some of his passes were Ryan Leaf-esque.... leviramsey Posted November 19, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 19, 2012 He started out OK... looked like we'd have a shootout. Then it turned out that only the Patriots had sufficient ammo.
maqroll
He did start well, but the pressure seemed to get to him eventually. The kid is going to be among the elite as soon as next year, he's that good.

kurtsimonw
Only 1 I got wrong was Tampa/Carolina. If not for a dodgy call in the 4th I may have had all of them right!
Tegis Posted November 19, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 19, 2012 Gronkowski with a broken forearm... Rodney Harrison expects Gronk to be out for 5-6 weeks. And Willis Mcgahee out with a torn MCL, 6-8 weeks. ****!

BOF Posted November 20, 2012 Author Moderator Share Posted November 20, 2012 And Willis Mcgahee out with a torn MCL, 6-8 weeks. ****! I really don't think that's a big deal. We have backup and it's our O-line that does the work.

Sort of agree, but Willis is much better as runner/blocker/catcher than both Ball and Moreno. Wont miss his fumbles though. Hillman I like as a runner but he's of little use in pass-protection. In other news, Colin Kaepernick looked pretty solid in his first start. And the Swiss cheese of a o-line in chicago gave Aldon Smith a big sack-night. What was it, 5.5? BOF Posted November 20, 2012 Author Moderator Share Posted November 20, 2012 Smith is a beast too. I'll keep Von though. We've a real special one there. At one point I saw San Diego triple covering him.

He seams to be the media-darling this time
kurtsimonw
Unfortunately DPOY is a popularity contest mostly. Some terrible awards in recent years like Bob Sanders (WFT!?). Even though he's a Jet, Darrelle Revis should've won it and probably more than once by now.
