maqroll
I'm trying to find the Steam directory to delete the files inside... the Steam help page says: To fix this error use the following steps:Exit SteamNavigate to Users/[username]/Library/Application Support/Steam by default.)Delete everything in that directoryLaunch Steam.app from your Dock or Applications folder 1. Noob question, but when they say "Navigate to Users/...etc," I should be typing that command in the terminal right? 2. If so, I tried that command, and it said "No such directory exists" Anyone care to take a stab at this? Thanks
Anthony Posted November 6, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted November 6, 2012 Assuming you're on windows? Look for it the same way you look for other files, i.e. using windows explorer. If you can't see the folder, you may have to go "into folder options" and click "Show hidden files and folders"(I'm on an XP machine now and it's in the menu at the top of the page, under 'tools')
