Sulberto21
Welcome back. Smart signing. People have mentioned him being a prick. On the pitch yes we need this. Also off the pitch he will be a huge signing for all. Maybe Jack's "me winning these free kicks" was referring to Ashley Young. He's an eloquent man who will ,I hope, be beneficial to the youngsters. Guys like AEG, Traore and even Buendia will benefit from his knowledge of wing play. This is a bigger signing than a lot of people think.
dudevillaisnice
Welcome back Ash. One year deal too, really happy. If it works out great if it doesn’t it’s only a year. Shrewd by the club. Villa of the past would’ve offered a 2/3 year deal.

leemond2008
At first I was bang against this, didn't want him at all, been thinking about it and it actually makes perfect sense and I'm pretty happy with the signing now.

sne
Quote Aston Villa is pleased to announce the signing of Ashley Young. The 35-year-old has signed a one-year deal after helping Inter Milan win Serie A last season. In a stellar career which has seen him make 369 Premier League appearances, win multiple trophies and earn 39 caps for his country, Young returns to Villa Park. Head Coach Dean Smith said: “Ashley brings with him a wealth of experience of top-level football both at club and international level and he is joining having just won a league championship in Italy. “He is a player who can play in a number of positions and, having spoken to him at length, I know he is determined to make a real impact with us this season.” https://www.avfc.co.uk/news/2021/june/Villa-announce-Ashley-Young-signing/

Guest av1
When I heard of the interest from Aston Villa, it was straight to my agent ‘get a deal done, whatever you can, get a deal done’,” he said. Popular Post Chindie Posted June 17, 2021 VT Supporter Popular Post Share Posted June 17, 2021 That period where he was flying down the wing and putting in devastating crosses and corners, where Laursen Carew and Gabby were all knocking them in, culminating in THAT Everton game, one of the best periods we've had this millennium.

AndyM3000
He's mentioned the 5-1 win v Blues and that Vidic should have been sent off. Good start lad, got the Twitter profile/header kitted out in claret and blue too, no messing.
