Still cannot post normally in Chrome on Windows 7 unless in incognito mode. Need to go thorugh 'More reply options' then 'Add reply'.

Fiddled around and eventually just deleted all my extensions except Adblocker (from which Villatalk is exempt anyway) and avast! WebRep, but still the same results, of the 'Post' button just doing nothing.

Any idea on anything at all I could change?

What happens if you disable all extensions and clear out all your browsing history?

I had done all that and cleared out the cache, and nothing happened when I restarted the browser.

However this morning after a full computer restart all is well, how lovely yet unexplainable.
