RB track record in football with Leipzig and Salzburg is exceptional (at least in terms of developing talent while getting good results). Leeds fans might have won a golden ticket here.

In Germany they hit a brick wall with Bayern. Be harder in the Premier League

The Red bull deal is great for Leeds.

However, in a multi club ownership, where do they sit? Are they now in essence just a feeder club to RB Leipzig?

Some may claim they will be equal.

Yet people claim Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez are equal and get the exact same resources, opertinies and team orders

Good news for them. But i think they will be more of a feeder club to the other clubs under their umbrella

Also should bw mentioned they are minority investors at this stage

They started the slow takeover of Liepzig the same way. RB isn’t investing in Leeds for the altruism of helping the club get back into the PL.

They not going to be a feeder club. Premier league is the biggest football league in the world with the most eye balls on it. Perfect for promoting RB.

They will do everything to get them promoted ASAP and stay in there.

They will obviously try to get leeds promoted but they are not exactly going to abandon a successful side like Leizpig. They will loan them they best youngsters at best. Obviously they wont be able to get away with selling leeds players for peanuts - if you could do that we would have done that by now

Yes, they won't abandon them, different markets, but the exposure from being in premier league is much bigger than that of Bundesliga (pretty much everywhere outside of German speaking countries).

I would imagine they will focus their attention on Leeds now, until they are well established in the Premier League.

A lot of Leeds' fans aren't pleased about it, they're worried that the plan is for Red Bull to eventually buy a bigger stake, if not a complete takeover, and then start changing their name, colors, and so on.

Leeds is in the middle of the rhubarb triangle.

Rhubarb is sour and bitter, just like Leeds fans.

RhuBarb Leeds.

RB Leeds.

Makes sense.

And move them hopefully. Red Bull Bradford or Red Bulls Milton Keynes much better names than Leeds
