maqroll
How wide can we stretch the definition of jazz? I think this 1982 classic is jazz, but then I'm not great on pigeon holes so I could be wrong. That's what they call "Juju", so I'm going to have to deny it it's legitimacy in this thread, lol But it's **** excellent, I've had that album for years, still sound fresh

CrackpotForeigner
What about this jazz/rap fusion from Guru... Jazzamataz Sounds excellent. I'll have to check it out. I imagine it's sort of like jazz, except brought up to date with a bit of rapping. 8)

chrisp65
lists are always a bit autistic, but redicovered today: Gene Krupa - Drummin Man / Drum Boogie / How high The Moon / Jeepers Creepers Terry Lightfoot's New Orleans Jazzmen - Black Bottom Stomp James Taylor Quartet - Blow Up Jimmy McGriff - I've Got A Woman oh, and a whole bunch of Jesus and Mary Chain but I might be straying into the wrong thread just a little bit there

Blow Up by JTQ is great. Both of these bring back great memories from the 80s. You are 45 years old and I claim my five pounds!
