Tom13
He's been way off it in most games over the past month and probably deserves to be dropped imo. My only problem with how he is being played is that he shouldn't be played so deep and in the first 4 games of the season he was playing more advanced and was having good games and having a big influence on games. Ever since the Leicester game where he played in midfield 2 he has looked like he is struggling in most games. He needs to play infront of proper defensive midfielder to get the best out of him.Don't agree, he's terrible in a more advanced role IMO.
commander
PLay someone as a defensive midfielder, Sanchez, Clark or even Gardner alongside Gana as a two and we'll start to have a really solid base to build on. Even someone like Herd (has he left yet?) in front of the defence would improve us 10 fold (he did pretty well under McLeish), our defence has been shit for ages, but even if we had the best defence in the world, we'd still concede loads because we have no protection. Lescott was player of teh year for Baggies last year - he had Fletcher, Yacob, Gardner etc in front of him and wasn't exposed - compare that to how he looks for us with Westwood infront of him.

Actually he was shunted out to left-back by Pulis because he was too big a liability at centre-back. Lescott is playing badly because he is over the hill, nothing else.

He was their player of the year last season.

ermie123
Stephen Ireland now there's a footballer to nod off with. On a par with Jordan Bowery for nod offness and he cannot get in a Rotherham team that are poo, so just shows how good Lambert was!

His crosses may be completed, they are also quite dreadful. As he takes most of our corners, and aren't they good, it's hardly surprising to see his numbers high in that area. The evidence of my eyes says he needs replacing with better quality.
Zatman
no way Westwood is creating 2 goalscoring chances a game, his over hit crosses that Gestede or Richards are stretching to reach is what is getting him these statsHe is probably the worst corner taker in top 2 divisions in England
