Rodders
hopefully one that just looks a lot worse than it is and it can be just a matter of weeks rather than months. Fingers crossed.
Villain-from-Texas
I'll be surprised if we see him on a pitch before 2016.
Stevo985 Posted December 7, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2014 BBC saying he will have a scan on Monday with suspected serious knee injury. You could tell by his reaction he's done something serious. I doubt we'll see him for a year if not more given how long Okore was out. Completely depends on if it's a tear or just a strain. Strained ligaments are a few weeks. Ruptured ligaments are months. Obviously it's hopefully the former. Pity, he was superb today before he got injured. CVByrne
It's Westwoods reaction which has me fearful of the worst for him. I'm expecting ACL rupture
Hanky
A disgraceful 'tackle' from where I was sitting. Not seen it again but looked like a red to me?
OutByEaster? Posted December 7, 2014 Moderator Share Posted December 7, 2014 I've not seen Guzan react like that before. He came screaming out of his goal, if Vardy had still been at the scene I think he'd have lamped him.
Hanky
Ps hope it's not a bad injury although fear the worst.
nik986
I fear the worst, however, it's often the innocuous ones that are worse when it comes to knee ligaments e.g. Aguero on Saturday and Walcott last season. Fingers crossed.
Isa
There is talk of it being ligament damage on Twitter. Not sure where that claim has originated from though.
Woodytom
Obviously not his biggest fan but fingers crossed the lads not hurt too bad. Heard his cross for the goal was a belter so fair play Westwood and speedy recovery.

Farlz
Really hope it's not a bad injury, not everyone's favourite but I do really like him. Great delivery from him today for the goal.
tomh621
Watching that pass for Clark's header again on MOTD. Absolute PORN that ball. Played great threading the ball to Benteke too. Really hope he's not out for too long!

StefanAVFC Posted December 7, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted December 7, 2014 Scan on Monday so guess we will see. Grealish just tweeted a get well soon message and said he is the most underrated player he knows. Yet people are daft for rating him. Oh well. hogso
There is talk of it being ligament damage on Twitter. Not sure where that claim has originated from though. That was the first reaction of the commentators on BBC wm after it happened, so quite possibly there. Edited December 7, 2014 by hogso
Bunnski
His delivery has been excellent ever since Benteke got injured and he wasn't under orders to put in a high floater tbf and it's strange that it's taken til now for him to get an assisst this season. Really hoping for good news from his scan, quality player.
Popular Post AvfcRigo82
He has really came into his game since joining us and he is improving season after season. A few hundred thousand pound signing from Crewe will soon be worth 10-15m if he keeps developing how he is. He reminds me a big of a Gordon Cowans type player. He is definitely the pick of the bunch that we signed from lower leagues last season which included Joe Bennett and Matthew Lowton. Unfortunate for him today with the poor tackle and I fear he could be out until near end of the season atleast.
The Fun Factory
Bloody hell, just when he was getting into form as well. I hope it's not to bad- I fear it could be a long time out for him. Damm.
Tomaszk
He's been largely in form for the last 16 months. Excellent footballer, if he's out for a while we'll be struggling with no him or Delph.
