jacketspuds Posted May 8, 2013 Share Posted May 8, 2013 (edited) Tonight's result is pretty much meaningless for us in terms of the Chelsea game as Benitez will still rest some players on Saturday as a ) he wants the Europa League win on his CV and b ) he is arrogant enough to think that he can pick the Chelsea ladies team and they will smash us. We are a much better team now than the won that got battered 8-0 in January. What is important is that tonight's result helps give Arsenal a kick up the backside to go out and put on a performance next Tuesday to push for a CL spot. It's not out of this world for Wigan to defy all odds and beat an in-form team.
