maqroll
If we had taken care of our own business against Fulham we wouldn't have needed to worry so much about today Inevitable other sides were going to win and turn themselves around i think we will be ruing the fact we failed to take all 3 points from that game Or the twenty other games we had leads in only to cough them up
Vancvillan
the big result went our way - ive been saying for weeks club xxxxx won't dragged in - its between us and wigan - and maybe one other So maybe club xxx will be dragged into it?
Raymond
So Wigan have Spurs, West Brom, Swansea, Arsenal, and us left. We have United, Sunderland, Norwich, Chelsea, and Wigan. We have a three point lead and basically the same GD. In your minds this all equates to us being screwed? Unbelievable.
maqroll
we need a point against Utd. It will be the greatest acheivement of the season if we can get a point there. Keeps us within Norwich and 4 away from Wigan. Massive game. Seeing as they've all but won the trophy, they'll probably field a weakened side...a point is very attainable IMO

PaulC
the big result went our way - ive been saying for weeks club xxxxx won't dragged in - its between us and wigan - and maybe one other I agree with that. If Wigan had of won we'd have been so depressed. As it is there's a 3 point gap and the goal difference is down to 1. Anything from the united game would be a huge bonus. jayEm
I guess Norwich were always unlikely to go down, and now there will be less pressure on our game vs them. Slight positive there.
nobler
Pretty grim afternoon. Some people laughed at me a few weeks for suggesting that Sunderland could get to 39/40 points. Really didn't see it as being an unreasonable prediction. Newcastle just need one win, which they'll get, imo. So it's back to what a lot predicted a couple of months back it's between us and Wigan. Could really do with getting out of the Man.Utd with as narrow loss as possible as Wigan's goal difference is only +1 better now. The prospect of it coming down to the last day against them is pretty insane.

Then any result would keep us up.

The_Steve
Thankfully, Wigan lost their games in hand. The goal differences is very close and we have some winnable games left. All is not lost.
