Mantis
Three home defeats back to back? Who is to blame for this? Kenny Dalglish when he bought all those average over priced english players Don't let the Liverpool fans hear you say that. Absolutely everyone is to blame for their current predicament except for "King Kenny".
bickster Posted October 5, 2012 Moderator Share Posted October 5, 2012 Well being as Dalglish didn't actually buy any of those players they may just have a point. Buying players was Commolli's job
AVFCforever1991
Well being as Dalglish didn't actually buy any of those players they may just have a point. Buying players was Commolli's job Yeah but all the players Commolli suggested, King Kenny didn't want. He wanted young english talent.. COMOLLI FRUSTRATED BY 'BUY BRITISH' TRANSFER POLICY Damien Comolli lost his job as Liverpool’s director of football last week as the club’s owners, Fenway Sports Group, held him responsible for the failure of high profile, big-money signings such as Andy Carroll. While Comolli publicly accepted his dismissal with good grace, saying he was “grateful” to have worked for Liverpool, friends of the Frenchman have told The Sweeper that he is privately “bitter and upset” about his departure. Comolli feels that the American owners and manager Kenny Dalglish pushed him towards a transfer policy of targeting young British players even though he advised them that there was more value for money abroad. For example, Comolli is believed to have been extremely interested in signing Juan Mata last summer from Valencia and received encouragement from the Spaniard’s representatives. Dalglish was not so keen and the Reds instead signed an expensive compromise in Stewart Downing from Aston Villa for £20 million. The England winger is yet to score or provide an assist in the Premier League so far this season. While Comolli accepts that he was happy to buy Downing, he believes that the restrictions placed upon him led to Liverpool signing average players who have underperformed this season as Dalglish’s side sit eighth in the league table. There were a couple of success stories in Luis Suarez (£22.8m) and Jose Enrique (£6m) but Comolli was ultimately held accountable for the poor returns from Carroll (£35m), Downing (£20m), Jordan Henderson (£16m) and Charlie Adam (£7m). The 49-year-old has now returned to France to spend time with his family - who never moved to Merseyside - and is keen for his next job to be with a Ligue 1 club due to the “family reasons” cited in the statement announcing his departure from Anfield. http://tinyurl.com/8j4n2sh Comolli wanted to buy Juan Mata, instead they got Downing. Great Work Dalglish.
LondonLax
Well being as Dalglish didn't actually buy any of those players they may just have a point. Buying players was Commolli's job I don't believe Dalglish is blameless for their transfer policy for a second. Liverpool fans would love it to be all Commolli's fault but there is no way the manager didn't have an input into those sigings.
kurtsimonw
The last 300 minutes Carragher has been on the pitch for Liverpool, they've conceeded 10 goals. He's always been hugely overrated, but Christ he's a shocking player now. And Liverpool are a funny club. They always seem to make a scapegoat that keeps them from the real problem. Rafa starts going shit? Yanks fault. Get new Yanks in, still shit? Hodgson's fault. Get Kenny in, still shit? Commoli's fault. Next season they'll be blaming the new owners for not backing the club probably.

Papillon
Say what you want about Ronaldo (a lot of the hate towards him was bascially because he was that good), but he never dived like that all the time. Like proper, prover, no people touched you diving. Suarez is of course nine steps behind Ronaldo in any way, but he dived and sulks every frecking game. MrDuck
Suarez is such a detestable arsehole. If there was any justice he (and others like him) would get lengthy bans for cheating. Instead, he'll get no punishment and we'll have his manager and captain mouthing off all week about how hard done by the poor lad is. Tossers one and all. villadude
Suarez hasn't dived once this season and had 3 stone wall pens not given. Even Gary Neville who hates Liverpool with a passion said the tackle where he was booked for diving was a penalty when you watched the reply and he was booked for no other reason than the fact of who he was. You can't ref like that no matter how tempting it is. Suarez's diving is over. He may throw his arms or head up but nearly all players do that, inparticular Chav and Utd players. I'm lucky to get info from a LFC player (who used to play for Villa) and I know Suarez has been given a code of conduct for sporting play this season by Rodger's of what he can and can't do and Suarez, as well as the rest of LFC players, have been told if they blatantly dive they'll be reprimanded. You still gonna come on here gobbing off like your average Liverplop fan and defend that cheating racist word removed after his latest display? And so much for your 'inside info', clearly you're talking bollocks or Suarez has chosen to ignore your club manager and has zero respect for him. It's no wonder you're the most hated fans and club in the league, when you and your sort back this nasty little shite to the hilt and persist in playing the victims. As I type this now I'm listening to a deluded scouse **** defend him on the morning phone in radio show, unbelievable stuff!
maqroll
hahahaha what a tool Blatant dives like that deserve straight red cards, in my opinion. They undermine the integrity of the game.
Zhan_Zhuang
Oh dear, that is one of the most blatant and rubbish dives I think I have ever seen. Now Ronaldo had a few very bad ones but nothing like this...
PieFacE Posted October 8, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted October 8, 2012 I don't understand why they havent started banning people for these sort of dives, which are just so blatant. The sooner they start banning players who are doing it, the sooner they will stop.
