Davkaus
That wasn't from last night. Was from 2003. According to Eurosport it was last night... doesn't mean it was correct! They might have had the banner out again, but they're full of shit if they're saying the photo is from last night, it's been doing the rounds for years. PaulC
They shouldn't allow banners like that.
Popular Post StanBalaban
Surely everyone in Liverpool would die a horribly painful death if nearby Manchester were to be nuked? Thick words removed.

VillaChris
That isn't Anfield, could be Millenium Stadium so years back. Not that it is right of course.
Mantis
Another easy way of telling it's not from last night is that the people in that picture are clearly dressed for colder weather. Edited September 18, 2014 by Mantis
TrentVilla Posted September 18, 2014 Moderator Share Posted September 18, 2014 Doesn't really matter when its from, that banner is poor taste and shows their hypocrisy.
MrDuck
I'm pretty sure a nuclear strike on Manchester is going to cause some pretty major collateral damage to Liverpool...

Guest av1
Was always going to be difficult for Rogers to rotate his squad for the league and CL, but.. Before, Us at home - loss CL, Ludogorets - lucky lucky win After, West Ham - loss Its going to be a long year, and happily, I can't see them finishing in top 4. PaulC
Still only 5 games played though. They miss Sturridge badly. I certainly don't think they will win the title but top 4 who knows.
Neil
Made todays loss a little easier to swallow, just love seeing liverpoop lose.
LondonLax
The three best teams look to be Chelsea, Man City and Arsenal. After that, who knows? Liverpool, Spurs and Man U all seem to be as chaotic as each other. Man U and Liverpool both need to make the Champions League really, someone is going to be hurting at the end of the season.
Mr_Dogg
With Sturridge out they only have one attacking player in form but the real problem is that Gerrard is finished completely. Passing to him is like slowing down time.
VillaChris
They have lost that spark and dynamism in their attacks from last season, Sterling can't do it all on his own as Balotelli has been unconvincing and Lallana looks like the new Harry Kewell. That and their defence is shite.
TrentVilla Posted September 21, 2014 Moderator Share Posted September 21, 2014 Liverpool much like Spurs were elevated to a false position by the presence of a world class player, in the absence of those players both clubs have fallen back to their true position. You could also argue that both clubs have wasted the windfall from selling those players but it might be a little early to say that. Liverpool though don't look like they have a top 4 squad/team and it's hard to see them retaining their place.
The_Steve
Liverpool's over reliance on Gerrard exposed. He's not a holding midfielder and they've done nothing to improve their defence - Mignolet and their centre backs are ordinary. Nor was I impressed with their full backs. Millions spent trying to replace Suarez and they've failed to address the glaring problem in the squad. It was fine when you had Sturridge and Suarez scoring for fun, but they leaked goals last season and continue this season. PieFacE Posted September 21, 2014 VT Supporter Share Posted September 21, 2014 (edited) Liverpool really need a defensive midfielder. Gerrard just isn't good enough for the role. They do miss Sturridge though. EDIT: What Steve said above lol Edited September 21, 2014 by PieFacE
