Tomaszk
I quite like watching him going forward. He can control and pass the ball.
poitier
He was poor tonight, but first game for a while so perhaps understandable. I don't think he is much good, but better than he showed tonight.

juanpabloangel18
A lot of people on Twitter saying Lowton gesticulated ''**** off'' to Villa fans at FT.
VillaChris
Heart isn't in it anymore here I don't think. Surprised he got the nod ahead of Bacuna.
PaulC
I actually thought he did ok. As has been said at least he can control and pass a ball.
HanoiVillan
I thought he was one of our better players overall. I really hope this stuff about a rude gesture is untrue. Sometimes these stories get made up when everyone is angry. I hope that's what's happened.
IwishIwasalivein1982
A lot of people on Twitter saying Lowton gesticulated ''**** off'' to Villa fans at FT. Apparently he was talking to his wife in the away end telling her to leave.
YLN
A lot of people on Twitter saying Lowton gesticulated ''**** off'' to Villa fans at FT. Apparently he was talking to his wife in the away end telling her to leave. Yeah I'd say he was yeah. That's what she's saying on Twitter anyway. They're not the cleverest these footballers and their wives. He was telling me to preheat the oven to 200 degrees, not giving the fans two fingers. ....That ought to hold the little SOBs
villa4europe
I take it the sarcastic wave was aimed at her too then?
spiezels
I said to my pal at the game it looked like he was signalling to someone rather than offering us all outside.
lexicon
Took him a while to settle into the game and even then he wasn't really up to much. Needs to get his act together or do one.
villaglint
Twas a fairly typical Lowton performance. He's generally got nice technique, although his crossing has been better, radar was a little off. Didn't really get tested defensively and that is his major weakness. Nabby
Crossing was off but like Cissoko constantly found himself wide with no option but to pass back.

icouldtelltheworld
Still think he could play a part for us, has slighlty more of an idea going forward than most our players, he was obviously not up to speed last night but he's about the only player we've got who can whip a decent cross in
