Wainy316
Has he not served his punishment yet? Surely the priority for Lambert should be trying to get the most amount of points and playing the team he believes can do that, not dishing out some stupid never ending punishment. VillaChris
Fack me, there was me thinking we did coaching at Bodymoor heath. Seems Lambert has some sort of Homeland style surveillance on the operation there!
samjp26
I'd bring him back in for Wednesday, give Bacuna a rest or try Bacuna out in a more advanced position.
Risso
The only inside knowledge I have of Lowton is that he bought his other half a Range Rover Evoque from the Land Rover garage in Erdington. And she pays him back by getting him in trouble with the club!
thetrees
I am not disbelieving what has been said on here but Lowton is still part of the squad and if Bacuna gets injured I am certain he will be first in line to play. Sorry i am just very sceptical about this story. But then our best (i know, hard to believe) available left back, Hutton, is completely frozen out, and we were reduced to playing Clark in that position. If Lambert is not happy with you, he's not happy, and he really will cut his nose off to spite his own face.

Just Bacuna has done such an excellent job at right back and doesn't deserve to be dropped.

If that is now his position, on the basis of the last two performances, I would drop him.

Lowton edges it for me though as one of his biggest strengths is that he can get forward and is a very good crosser of the ball. As a team we have missed that this season and Benteke in particular has missed Lowtons service. I can't remember a decent cross coming in from either fullback yesterday. In fact I am struggling to remember the last decent cross from a fullback that wasn't Lowton. Edited December 1, 2013 by markavfc40
Risso
We've now got four full backs, and we're debating which of them gets to play by virtue of being not as bad as the others. Great position to be in, that.

romavillan Posted December 2, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted December 2, 2013 What rules? Idle speculation I presume? Rules regarding about living within a certain distance of the club and not lying about the fact you had been back staying in sheffield and your house in sutton is empty because your missus is missing her mum. Is this for real? I believe it to be, his house on four oaks was empty as his missus was homesick. The club sent people round and dicovered he hadnt been living there, didn't go down too well with Mr Lambert. Dont know what the situation is now but thats why he was missing from squads I'm back that end of town for christmas, anyone know where on the four oaks estate his house is? I can go and drop him a christmas card and see if he's in, if he's not, has anyone got a big van?

tinker Posted December 2, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted December 2, 2013 Fact is we have kept clean sheets with the defense as it is, perhaps Lowton should be tried on the right wing, we miss his crossing ability, for me he was motm against Sunderland last season
