maqroll
For me, he's a bit lightweight and slow. He also doesn't really like to get stuck in and tackle, so what does he offer as a DM?
Zatman
ball retention is his main skill

Amo69
I think there is a good player here but clearly he has struggled to settle. Unfortunately we need players that can hit the ground running and this won't be the case for all signings.

Daniel
disappointment? he cost 2.5 million, what were you expecting another Gareth Barry or James MIlner? So what about the price? Swansea got Michu for £2.2m. 13 goals in the league, 5 less than RvP and 3 less than Suarez. I expected more from him. So far he's done nothing. Didiersix
Any player who cost more than Michu seems to get it. A stick to beat players with. The Michu stick.
mikeyp102
that tends to be how it works around here: 1 - sign player - he's brilliant 2 - plays a few games - great signing 3 - pace of the new league catches up with him - he's shit, worst signing ever 4 - dropped to bench - waste of money, pissing away our limited resources again 5 - out dropped/injured/on international duty for a while - he's the missing link, he'll make a massive difference when he comes back 6 - go to number 3 and repeat Hahaha pretty spot on
dickyhell
IS HE AVAILABLE FOR NEWCASTLE? Good idea, put him in a black and white shirt and push him into the away dressing room.
Con
he not very good at that either. It's actually decent, 85%. Leon Britton leads the league with about 91%. Problem is 45.5% of his passes go backwards.

Troglodyte Posted January 28, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted January 28, 2013 He's a similar player to Petrov, although admittedly he doesn't seem quite as good. However, it took Stan a very long time to settle properly and become appreciated by many of our fans. He suffered a huge amount of criticism from some quarters when he'd been at the club for longer than El Ahmadi has now.

ender4
Its way too early to judge him yet... how many games has he started for Villa? give him at least 25 starts before judging him.
ciggiesnbeer
I dont care if he is mediocre. We need him fit and available for selection. We have a small squad and will need to rotate a lot as we fight relegation. Edited January 28, 2013 by ciggiesnbeer
