AVFCforever1991
He's off to the African Cup of Nations soon. Can only be a good thing.
AndyBM
clearly not as good as PL expected, my opinion of him as dropped now as well unfortunately hopefully we can sell him on in the summer and not lose too much money on him
dudevillaisnice
We really do not have luck with midfielders.. Milner and Barry was the midfield I liked. Since then we have not replaced any of them despite spending ££££££ on the likes of Delph and KEA and have lacked the quality.
CI
Milner Barry Young Downing Petrov None properly replaced .
Chindie Posted December 27, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted December 27, 2012 In fairness, quite a few Dutch fans said when we bought him he's not actually any cop. Lo and behold, he goes to a more difficult league and struggles. He might improve a little if he got to the point were he looked like a stiff breeze wouldn't blow him over. Keyblade
I think the physicality of the PL is catching up to him. He was excellent in preseason, and in the first few games of the season. Now he seems like a player who's finding his feet while also desperately trying to impress his manager. He just needs to calm down and a little more time to get used to this league. Swerbs
Seems like another Makoun, doesn't really contribute defensively or to our forward play.
Papillon
He seriously lacked composure on the ball last night, everytime he got it he either hit a poor pass or just lost it. Always someone harrassing him instantly, didn't contribute at all. When he first came here people were saying how great he was, but I am pretty confident he will never set his mark on this league, sadly.
villa89
FRom what I have seen he looks awful, doesn't tackle or close down well and constantly gives the ball away. Not sure who is worse him or delph.
AndyBM
we only paid £3m for him, hopefully he plays well in the ACoN so we can recoup

maqroll
Not sure who is worse him or delph. Delph at least tries hard, KEA is lazy, I can't believe Lambert rates him at all
markavfc40
Delph at least tries hard, KEA is lazy, I can't believe Lambert rates him at all I'm not so sure he rates him too highly at all. Last night however he decided to start the game very defensive and therefore given the other players available had very little choice other than to start KEA. How the **** he stayed on though and Westwood went off is anyone's guess.
AndyBM
so.. in short, KEA started good but has deteriated and delph has always been average but has spells of promise which quickly disapear?
CI
KEA seems to struggle with the pace and physicality of the Premier League. He also never seems to make runs off the ball. The only thing he seems to do is play tippy tappy little triangular balls which even those he inevitably **** up. Also appears to have a balance issue, the number of times I've seen him slip over is just ridiculous.
maqroll
But he dresses well...
mikeyp102
Agreed he has gone backwards, but also it can't help playing with Delph who just hides away, or is standing on kea toes
Foxy1
He was our worst player against Spurs, and thats saying something. His touch is OK but his passing is poor and he seems to have no physical influence at all. Just seems to stroll around.
AVFCforever1991
I never remember KEA starting well. He just wasn't this poor. Edited December 27, 2012 by AVFCforever1991
