CarewsEyebrowDesigner
One day I'd like to see a team just have a go against Spain. Like Chile did.

legov
France could well hit them on the counter. Sure looks like that will happen so far :? No, seriously, from an attacking point of view they have been so woeful, no one's on Ribery's wavelength at all. 3 set pieces aside they've had no sniffs at goal at all and I seriously can't see them doing a good counter to threaten Casillas's goal unless they improve vastly. ryanvilla_1994
I quite like watching Spain mainly because of Iniesta, Xavi and Silva.
CarewsEyebrowDesigner
Yes. I've long said Spain are a defensive team. Dull. Dull. Dull.
Stevo985 Posted June 23, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted June 23, 2012 Spain are dull because they are so good. And I agree with Brumerican. Iniesta has been class in every game
The_Rev
Lovely bit of showboating there from Iniesta.

Brumerican
I think Iniesta has overtaken Xavi in the last year. I don't think he was ever behind him. He has a lot more to his game IMO.

I always thought Xavi was a bit better and that has been reflected in the bal'on dor honours. But its pretty close. Xavi is 4 years older so that is an explanation for it. The_Rev
Ribery has been excellent in this second half. Best player on the pitch.
Stevo985 Posted June 23, 2012 VT Supporter Share Posted June 23, 2012 France are pressuring Spain a lot more when Spain are in possession. They've got nowhere near as much time on the ball
