maqroll
I would have thought OGS was smarter than to have taken this job. Wrong club at the wrong time, and the fact that they are almost certain to get relegated will hurt his reputation. He easily could have waited until the end of the season and window shopped about 6 clubs who would probably have had interest in him.
vandaq
Kinda loving it, would not surprise if he is sacked soon now. If he goes, their new wonderkid Dæhli will probably jump ship as well as I seriously doubt he even gives a f about cardiff, specially if they are playing in the championship. Could be a coup if we went in but we never will
Demitri_C
OGS isnt really setting the world alight is he? after the poor sacking of mackay it would seem to be sweet revenge if they went down

vandaq
Yeah, no norwegian defense here but malky is much to blame as well, just a woeful squad.
Voinjama
Any players we could steal from them if they go down? They have a few defenders I'd take like Caulker.
VillaChris
They were taking enough points from teams around them when McKay was there, won at Fulham, beat Swansea at home, drew at Norwich and Hull, beat WBA at home. OGS has failed to do this really, losing at home to West Ham at home set the tone as has losing dismally yesterday and at Swansea. I would say Gary Medel but he'd probably cost a fortune and is limited going forward.
Voinjama
Marshall in goal, even though im happy with guzan.

OGS has failed to do this really, losing at home to West Ham at home set the tone as has losing dismally yesterday and at Swansea. Early on they were picking up the points, however they were on a downward spiral and it has just continued under OGS. It's not that much down to either manager, they are just where they are due to the quality of their squad. Players are the most significant impact on results. Difference between them are that Mackay park the buss, while OGS want the team to play - which perhaps is a bit naive considering their position, quality and the short time he has at his disposal Any players we could steal from them if they go down? They have a few defenders I'd take like Caulker. David Marshall, Steven Caulker, Gary Medel, Mats Daehli, Craig Noone have all been good
vandaq
Dæhli, he has a lot of hype around him here but he has looked great. Would be hard to get but then again we do have that "young" factor compared to other teams. Would be a terrific signing but i don't see it. Noone has been good, fan favorite but we should go for something better this summer. Marshall is good but the same age as Guzan, so no point really. Medel maybe, he could be a little bit expensive. Not really been that impressed with him to be honest...
Rovers13
The quality is mackays fault though, he has a shitload to spend.
VillaChris
O.k but Caulker was a good signing and again Gary Medel quality so he spent 2/3 of his budget well, just Cornelius was a disaster. Who else did he sign, Odemwingie didn't work out for some reason but his replacement Kenwyne Jones has been just as bad.

Who else did he sign, Odemwingie didn't work out for some reason but his replacement Kenwyne Jones has been just as bad. He spent at least €35 million and had a championship record spend in previous years. He had more than enough time and money to assemble the squad. If he chose to use the large budget on too few players and left them short of options, that's on him. Edited February 24, 2014 by Rovers13
