Looks like City could well have won their current case with the Premier League regarding Associated Party Transactions, e.g. value over commercial deals with Etihad and the like. Would be big news for Newcastle as well.

Not related to the 115 charges.

Does this mean anything for us?

The Journos are reading between the lines a bit but essentially but if these rules were quashed, it would mean we would back to the rules pre-Newcastle takeover whereby Newcastle could sell a player for an inflated price to Saudi Arabia or have huge sponsorship deals from some Saudi company and it wouldn't matter that it's not at market value.

We'll know more what exactly has happened in the case in the next while.

Couldn't we also do that?  Nas has plenty of businesses around the globe.

Of course yes, but it would be the wild wild west which is why it would be a huge development.

However we don't know exactly what the results of the case are, so it may be that City have only won a minor victory in the case which would mean little change.

City and Newcastle owners can print their own money and make up companies. Nas and Wes are business men who work in the real world. We could still cheat, but on a much, much smaller scale.

We don't have to do it on the scale of City or Newcastle, just enough to not have to sell our best players and buy and upgraded right back 🤣

Looking forward to the Zed FC double swoop for Diego Carlos and Leander Dendoncker for a combined £150m.

Great players, well worth it

Maybe he should adapt his approach to not be so reliant on one player.

Yeah he might actually win something if he did

Who did he use at Bayern for it, kimmich?

He and city are obviously perfectly capable of winning something without rodri but he has shown that to reach the proper elite level he does need a rodri or a busquets (so do Spain to be fair...)

Probably no surprise given how he played himself
