Mr_Dogg
I have no sympathy for Mancini, A dream squad and he still complains. Pellegrini is absolutely top class, he'll probably sign Isco as well. Silva, Cazorla, Isco and Mata all tearing it up in the league.
kurtsimonw
Didn't Malaga spend a silly amount of money over the last few years? That he's won about as many as he's lost as manager Malaga doesn't look all that impressive.

That he's won about as many as he's lost as manager Malaga doesn't look all that impressive. Initially they had loads to spend, but then for various reasons (e.g. UEFA banning them) the tap got turned off and they had to asset strip. Despite this they have done well. Since he took over them money has been took from him and has had to sell his best players Cazorla, Rondon, Monreal and got 5th rate replacements like Antunes and Santa Cruz and a bunch of old players like Saviola. getting Malaga to quarters of Champions League was a brilliant achievement

Chindie Posted May 12, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 12, 2013 Annoyingly, with Mancini gone they're only likely to improve - he was never a particularly good manager and had shown it more often than not as Citeh manager.

Stevo985 Posted May 12, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 12, 2013 Never really liked or rated Mancini. He's a half decent manager, but with the amount of money he's had he should have done a lot more with City. A really good manager could have them dominating, especially with Fergie retiring. PieFacE Posted May 12, 2013 VT Supporter Share Posted May 12, 2013 Yeah, with Fegie going, it's almost perfect for Mourinho to make them the most dominant club in the country.

turnbull
SAF, nailed on. You heard it here first. Really though, if they're sacking Mankini then they may as well sack the useless bunch who started the final yesterday, that performance was a total disgrace and an insult to their fans. Shame they don't play like that every week. Edited May 12, 2013 by turnbull
