Morley_crosses_to_Withe
Yeah they're good owners and clearly in it for the long haul, but they're no visionary geniuses. They're doing nothing that any half wit could do with access to a family fortune rumoured to be pushing close to a trillion dollars.
ismail-villa
Apparently they have a £32m bid accepted for Mangala. The Uefa fine seems to not have bothered them Edited July 3, 2014 by ismail-villa
NurembergVillan Posted July 3, 2014 Moderator Share Posted July 3, 2014 They'd earned enough to cover the cost of the fine by the time they'd taken the letter out of the envelope.

mikeyp102
really? i like nastasic got a good future ahead of him, i thought it was because of lescott and i think demichellis going with fernando signed they've sorted the defensive side of the midfield out, they'll need cover for RB, cover for keeper, and then i think another striker and more importantly cover for silva, i think they can look toothless at times without him Jovetic missed a big part of last he will act as another striker and link midfielder.. If they tighten up at the back they are pretty phenomenal. Just need to improve in Europe.

NurembergVillan Posted July 7, 2014 Moderator Share Posted July 7, 2014 At least he's got a bit of passion and sense of urgency about him. More than you can say for the others.
dont_do_it_doug.
forgot about them signing sagna, so thats RB sorted I don't understand that one. Sagna as COVER? That's absolutely maddening. Meanwhile at B6...
VillaChris
Could see Sagna at centre half I think especially as Kompany usually picks up injuries during the season. He could well play there in the CL given they'll have to cut a couple of players from their squad list due to FFP.
Rovers13
Also, Zabaleta can play left back so they could play him there and Sagna on the right if they want defensive solidity.
Brumerican
4-0 up against Milan After 25 minutes. The Milan goalie looks like a competition winner so this could end up a cricket score.
Popular Post chappy
Well the twitter Q&A with Navas could've gone better... #askjesusIf you can turn water into wine, can you turn Jack Rodwell into a footballer? You fed 5000 people with 3 loaves and 2 fish. Why couldn't you bake yaya a cake? You walked on water but can you do it on a cold, Tuesday night in Stoke?
maqroll
"Super Frankie Lampard" to Manchester City... I wonder if Chelsea will remove the "Super Frankie Lampard" banner from Stamford Bridge. "Super Frankie Lampard"
Genie
It always seemed odd he'd sign for a club who didn't have a game for another year, seems like this was the plan all along which is very disrespectful to Chelsea and its fans.
Mr_Dogg
Jovetic on fire this pre season, like a new player to use our favourite phrase.
MrDuck
Frank Lampard at the end of the season - "I could never sign for another premier league club after so long at Chelsea".
Genie
Wenger calling into question the morality of this deal (and rightly so). A blatant abuse of FFP rules. Frank showing he is also full of it after "never playing for another premier league team" quote last season. They are a great match.
samjp26
All the Frank Lampard rubbish made me completely miss the fact that they've signed Bruno Zuculini. Top prospect, off to Deportivo on loan for the season, shame really I'd have liked to have tried him out here.
